WHY @HARRY?

The reason is simple: I have a dream to retire in Venice and to go daily [not really daily *lol] to HARRY’s BAR. Memories of my visit to New York might play a part in it. You may wonder if I can do anything else than drink? Let’s find out …

I don’t know why, but I never did the usual. At the age of 17, I had my first company in Delaware. A friend who was older than me stepped in as the director. Due to some inventions, like the Cyberspace Rocket Chair and the Cybermedia Design Standard, I got a call to teach at universities and other institutions but I did not extend this when the German border fell. I went into industry and became a funds manager at Cayman Islands, but that fund blew up, so I went back to my roots: computing and simulation where I made my MBA. Dr. Philipp Rösler, Federal Minister of Economics and Technology, invited me to join the German delegation at the Greek-German summit in 2011 to present solutions with OpenSimulator.

Since then I have developed software solutions in this field and qualified them for industrial use. I hold an EOQ-Auditor degree and was also over many years a certified trainer within the train-the-trainer program of DGQ. I have also an Environment- and Risk-Management qualification.

I am the creator of the first bar in virtual worlds, HARRY’s BAR [in Metropolis Grid]. Since this grid closed I have it on my local PC. At some day I might restart it and make it open for public use.
